The San Francisco 49ers might be coming off an NFC Championship, but that doesn't mean that every member of Robert Saleh's defense is guaranteed a spot on the 2020 roster.

John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan might be in the business of cutting salary this offseason after reports emerged suggesting pass rusher Dee Ford, persistent linebacker Kwon Alexander, and safety Jaquiski Tartt could all be on the move.

Tartt would be an ideal fit for the Philadelphia Eagles, who are expected to load up on wide receivers and defensive backs in the 2020 NFL Draft.

The Eagles should be willing to part with a third-round pick, of which they have two during the 2020 draft, in order to acquire Tartt, who has a $6 million cap hit in 2020 and one year left on his deal.

Tartt started 12 games for the 49ers last year, and he earned acclaim for his range in a Saleh defense that requires him to cover a lot of ground and play a lot of deep zone. That ball hawk who could shut down a tight end when needed is sorely missed on the Eagles defense, and Howie Roseman could flip a pick to a team in desperate need of one in exchange for a new starting safety. After all, we're not sure how the duo of Rodney McLeod and Jalen Mills will perform in 2020.

The Eagles secondary needs a major shot in the arm, and a player of Tartt's caliber would certainly make them one of the most feared units in the NFC.
