Eagles beat out Cowboys to sign prized LB Shaquille Leonard

From the moment it was announced that former All-Pro linebacker Shaquille Leonard was being released by the Colts, teams were lining up to try and sign him. Leonard still has plenty of good football ahead of him.
Over the past week, it was reported that the Cowboys and Eagles were two of the teams standing out to him. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, Leonard has made his decision and he's ready to join the reigning NFC champions.
Sources: The #Eagles and former #Colts All-Pro LB Shaq Leonard have agreed to terms on a 1-year deal after he took a visit to Philly last week. A potential big addition for the stretch run.

Leonard took visits to both NFC East organizations, but it was believed from the start that he always had his eyes on the Eagles. Philly is coming off a brutal loss to the 49ers on Sunday, but this latest news on Leonard is sure to make fans happy.
