VIDEO: Alleged Footage of Eagles TE Dallas Goedert Getting Sucker Punched Emerges
By Michael Luciano
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was mysteriously punched in the face while eating dinner with his family in South Dakota. After a day of uncertainty over what happened, a video has emerged that might shed some light on the event. Security footage allegedly shows Goedert trying to calm down one of the guys involved in a fight in front of the restaurant, which prompted another member of the melee to sprint up and slug the Eagles TE in the face.
Reports claim that the man who punched Goedert has been arrested, and the TE himself does not have any serious injuries.
Eagles fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as the former South Dakota State star has become one of Doug Pederson's most valued offensive weapons. Goedert was second on the team, behind only Zach Ertz, in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns.
Goedert should make a full recovery, and the man who decided to punch him could face charges.
