Apparently enjoying a lovely meal with his family is something that Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert needs to think twice about.

A suspect has been taken into custody.
Goedert, who attended high school in South Dakota and became a star at South Dakota State, started to show signs he can be a star in this league during his second season, catching 58 passes for 607 yards and five touchdowns. All of those numbers were second on the team behind Zach Ertz.

He has since returned home and is "fine," a source said. https://t.co/oPndDd63RE
As shocking as this incident was and as dangerous as it could have been, it sounds like Goedert will not miss any part of the 2020 season and will be ready for Eagles training camp. A small silver lining for the promising tight end.
