VIDEO: Eagles Fan Gets Caught Doing Vikings 'Skol' Chant on TV and Has Some Explaining to Do
By Adam Weinrib
We've all been there before. Wrapped up in the innocent fun of a full-crowd-deep chant, and then all of a sudden, you're clapping along-- exactly what happens to me every time I end up at a Shakira concert during the World Cup theme. But to be captured on national television, AND to be from Philly? Yeah, this woman's going to have to answer a lot of texts once she gets out of U.S. Bank stadium in Minnesota. Watch one lone Eagles fan in a Carson Wentz jersey join about 100,000 of her enemies in a spirited "Skol!" chant and get betrayed by the cameraman.
Doesn't feel good.
It even appears that she's talking to someone up top. If only she were asking, "Is this good? Should this be what I'm doing?"
Bud, don't get mad! The Eagles are thinking comeback after being down 24-3 early. Perhaps there's a silver lining here? Maybe absorbing the chant has neutered it and turned momentum the other way, like when the Red Sox started playing, "New York, New York"?
