Eagles Fans Flipping Out About Nelson Agholor Not Coming Down With 4th-Down Catch Need to Get a Grip
By Andy Loughmiller

The Philadelphia Eagles fell to the New England Patriots in Week 11, and fans are already pointing the finger at Nelson Agholor for not coming down with what would have been a game-tying touchdown catch.
Agholor has definitely had his struggles this season, but he shouldn't be blamed for Philly's loss to New England.
When this is released Agholor is at the 15-yard line. He has nearly 30 yards to take his path, which begins at the opposite hash. The DB doesn't touch it. It's not over/under thrown.

This does not require a special catch. It only looks like it does due to abysmal tracking. pic.twitter.com/CyeAZ3fYxZ
Eagles' fans are not known to be a forgiving bunch, but they need to give this guy a break.
Let's not forget the Eagles jumped out to an early 10-0 lead before getting shut down on offense and losing 17-10. While Agholor's drop was certainly a critical moment of the game, there were many other opportunities to stay in the game, and the Eagles came up short.
Quarterback Carson Wentz may have delivered a nice ball to his fifth-year receiver on the fourth-down play, but his previous three throws were either inaccurate or bad decisions.
Agholor should have caught the ball, but the only reason they were in 4th and long to end the game was because of 3 straight misses by Wentz. #Eagles pic.twitter.com/PnntnNzvRg

Agholor has become somewhat of a scapegoat for Philadelphia's struggles this season, as this is not the first time he's had the finger pointed at him in a loss. He also came under fire for dropping a wide open touchdown pass against the Falcons -- for which one fan went viral by calling Agholor out.
At the end of the day, Eagles fans are not happy with the USC product, but constantly suggesting he's to blame in games where the entire offense is stagnant is simply unfair.
