Eagles give Jalen Hurts a monster contract extension

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has landed his payday. After leading the Eagles to the Super Bowl this past season, it only felt like a matter of time before he was given a brand new contract from the NFC East team.
That has come on Monday morning, with news just breaking that the Eagles have indeed paid him. This is just an unreal amount of money:
Eagles and Jalen Hurts reached agreement on a five-year, $255 million extension, including $179.304 million guaranteed, per source.

Wow, $255 million over five years? That's exactly what has come in for Hurts. Now, all eyes will be on the Bengals to see how much they'll end up paying Joe Burrow. As for Hurts, he's one happy camper.
