Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson Seems to Not Know What's Going on With DC Jim Schwartz

It's hiring season for dysfunctional NFL franchises. The likes of the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants made swift hires in Mike McCarthy and Joe Judge, but the Cleveland Browns are the last of NFL teams who need a head coach.
Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is at the top of the Browns' short list and it was confirmed he was interviewing with the team.
Eagles head coach Doug Pederson and general manager Howie Roseman met with reporters Wednesday morning to speak about the Eagles' season and how they will proceed with the franchise moving forward into the offseason.
When Pederson was asked about his defensive coordinator, he apparently stumbled over his answer about Schwartz returning to the Philly sideline next season.
Confused about his DC's future, Pederson tried to paint over the cracks by saying all of Philadelphia's coaches were his at the moment.
Hmmmm. So what's going on?
The Eagles weren't far from extending their stay in the playoffs, with Carson Wentz's head injury really being the difference against the Seahawks last weekend.
Pederson worked miracles just to get his decimated squad into the playoffs, turning his most of second strings into capable starters and pulling off must-win games against the Cowboys and Giants (twice) late in the year.
With a Super Bowl under their belt, Pederson and the Eagles won't have any issues attracting coaches to Philly, but it's probably best if they had an idea about what's going on with one of their top assistants.
