Eagles Hire Former Fan Favorites Darren Sproles and Brent Celek as Front Office Consultants

The Philadelphia Eagles will be bringing back some familiar faces to join their squad for the 2020 NFL season. While these two individuals contributed to the Eagles on the gridiron for years, they will be taking their efforts to the front office.
Former Eagles Darren Sproles and Brent Celek have accepted positions as personal consultants with Philadelphia.
Brent Celek retired after the 2017 season, winning a Super Bowl and spending his entire 11-year career with the Eagles. Darren Sproles retired in Dec. of 2019 after battling injury issues for years. Sproles spent a total of six seasons with the squad and was named to the Pro Bowl in three of them. He also ranks 5th all time on the Eagles rushing list.
Now that their playing days are over, Celek and Sproles will be working to contribute off the field. They will be joining another former Bird in Connor Barwin who was also recently named special assistant to the general manager.
After failing to make the playoffs last season, the Eagles felt it was imperative to make some changes to the front office. Adding some former players can help create chemistry between the current roster and the suits upstairs.
