The 34-year-old Harrell played quarterback at Texas Tech from 2004-2008, and earned a four-year stint in the NFL from 2010-2013 as a practice squad member with the Packers and a backup on the Jets.
In one year leading USC's offense in 2019, Harrell coordinated the nation's 14th-ranked offense, averaging 33.1 points per game.
Graham Harrell is a solid up-and-comer in college offenses. Has an Air Raid background (played QB at Texas Tech under Mike Leach) but does a ton of QB-friendly stuff that he stole from quick-game spread coaches like Gundy and Meyer.

His offenses are fun.
Harrell fits the profile of the young, emerging college coordinator trend that's been filling many NFL coordinator jobs in recent years. Earlier this week, new Panthers head coach Matt Rhule hired 30-year-old Joe Brady, the coordinator who led LSU's historic offense to the national title this past season, to coordinate Carolina's offense on his staff.
Harrell's a master of deception, which should lead to some innovative packaging, if brought to the NFL.

The Eagles are in the market for a new offensive coordinator after parting ways with Mike Groh after two seasons. The Eagles finished with the 11th-ranked offense in the league in 2019, and fifth-ranked rushing offense.
