Eagles Missing Top Three Wideouts With Nelson Agholor Out vs Cowboys

The Philadelphia Eagles' playoff hopes could die if they lose to the Dallas Cowboys this week, and Carson Wentz isn't going to have a ton of help around him to avoid said loss.

Already down deep threat DeSean Jackson and jump-ball ace Alshon Jeffrey, the Eagles will be without their starting slot receiver, as Nelson Agholor is unable to start this week for Philadelphia due to a knee injury.

Jackson was ruled out for the season several weeks ago, and Jeffrey left their Monday Night win against the New York Giants after suffering a foot injury that led to him being placed on injured reserve.

With Agholor out, Wentz will have to lean on seldom-used rookie JJ Arcega-Whiteside and former Houston quarterback Greg Ward, who piled up 61 yards receiving and a touchdown in a win against the Redskins last week.

Demarcus Lawrence and Dallas showed that they can get after and disrupt Wentz and the Eagles when they had most of their weapons healthy, so imagine what that defense could do to the Eagles unless the likes of Wentz, Ward, and Arcega-Whiteside are on the very top of their game.
