3 Most Underpaid Players on Eagles
By Emily Adams
In the midst of offseason contract drama across the league, the Philadelphia Eagles, despite the lone issue with Malcolm Jenkins, once again took care of business and are set to go for the 2020 campaign.
But aside from the heavy lifting general manager Howie Roseman did, the Birds are lucky to have a few young studs who aren't due for a new contracts yet and are making way less than they're worth.
3. TE Dallas Goedert
Goedert may be playing behind Zach Ertz, who is one of the best tight ends in the business, but the 25-year-old proved that he has a ton of value. His numbers may not totally show it, but he comes up big when the Eagles need him and already has nearly 1,000 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in his first two NFL seasons. He's making less than a million a year right now and has the potential to be a powerhouse for years to come.
2. RB Boston Scott
Scott is barely clearing the NFL league minimum, but his performance last season showed that he's a star in the making. He only played in 10 games, but during that time he amassed 449 yards and 5 touchdowns. Scott will likely be a regular in the running back rotation for the Eagles this year, and he'll be playing for an absolute bargain of $750,000 a year.
1. RB Miles Sanders
Sanders was a rookie last season, and he's already worth way more than his contract. His base salary is a measly $738,647, but the 22-year old running back posted 818 rushing yards and 509 receiving yards. His ceiling is insanely high and the Eagles will have three more years of their dual-threat feature back at a great price.
