VIDEO: Eagles OL Lane Johnson Leaves Monday Night Football With Ugly-Looking Ankle Injury
By Chris Pyo
The injuries just continue to pour onto the Philadelphia Eagles during their Monday Night Football matchup against the New York Giants, and this most recent injury is a worrying one. Stud offensive lineman Lane Johnson left the game in the middle of the second quarter after his lower leg appeared to be crushed by Carson Wentz.
That can't be good, as Wentz was driven into his leg with full force courtesy of Giants lineman Dalvin Tomlinson. Whether Johnson is out for a quarter or for the game, Wentz' task just got a lot more difficult for the rest of the night.
For now, he's considered questionable to return. All told, things could be worse.
