The Eagles have one of the most criticized classes of the 2020 NFL Draft. While the organization has high hopes of using Jalen Hurts in some sort of fashion, many in and around Philly have no idea what general manager Howie Roseman and head coach Doug Pederson were thinking with that selection. Outside of Hurts, however, the class does have potential to make some noise. With that in mind, here are a few Eagles newcomers that could win Rookie of the Year.

3. DB K'Von Wallace

Outside of health, the secondary was the biggest question mark for Philly throughout 2019. Acquiring cornerbacks Trevor Williams, Darius Slay and Nickell Robey-Coleman will help on the outsides, but the loss of safety Malcolm Jenkins could hurt. This is where K'Von Wallace steps in. A three-year starter at Clemson, he helped to guide the Tigers to two national championships and will have plenty of opportunities to capitalize on Philadelphia’s lack of depth at the back end of the defense.

2. LB Davion Taylor

Davion Taylor is on the smaller side for a linebacker at six feet and 228 pounds, but he fits the mold of being able to play multiple positions on defense in today’s NFL. With the loss of Nigel Bradham, Taylor can fill in the void. He could also be used in substitution packages in which he would have to cover running backs out of the backfield. Taylor’s versatility is what makes him a viable candidate for rookie honors.

1. WR Jalen Reagor

As a first-round pick, Jalen Reagor already has high expectations on him to produce immediately. Although Philadelphia moved Nelson Agholor and brought in speed demon Marquise Goodwin, a wide receiver trio of Goodwin, DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery is injury prone. The former TCU Horned Frog can come in immediately and be a solid outlet for quarterback Carson Wentz. If Reagor makes enough splash plays, he could find himself in ROY contention.
