It's hard to believe, but the NFL Draft is just nine days away. The hype has been generating for months now, and it might reach its peak on Tuesday now that ESPN insider Mel Kiper has released his latest mock.

Speaking just in terms of the Philadelphia Eagles, the 4.0 edition has the NFC East champs making a selection that's guaranteed to sit well with the fault-finding fan base.

Kiper has Alabama's star wide receiver Henry Ruggs falling to the Eagles at No. 21 overall.

Shortly after the Combine, Kiper projected Philadelphia to draft WR Justin Jefferson. This time around, however, the former LSU stud comes off the board at No. 15 to the Denver Broncos, swapping places with Ruggs.

Nabbing Ruggs would obviously be a dream scenario for the Eagles. After all, it's been widely conversed that the team would have to trade up to get him. There are even some analysts who believe that the Crimson Tide speedster will be the first wideout taken next Thursday.

The fit is apparent, and Kiper clearly has a hunch that Ruggs could drop out of the first 20 picks.

Philadelphia doesn't have many holes on its roster, but WR is a glaring need. If Ruggs falls that far, getting him at No. 21 could go down as the steal of the draft.
