Eagles RB Miles Sanders Expected to Play vs Seahawks in Wild Card Game Despite Ankle Injury
By Thomas Carannante

The Philadelphia Eagles won the NFC East with a victory over the New York Giants in Week 17, but it came at a cost. Both Miles Sanders and Brandon Brooks left the game with injuries, and on Monday Brooks was ruled out for the rest of the year.
But don't worry, Philly fans. There's some good news on Sanders. The stud rookie running back is expected to play against the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Wild Card game this Sunday.

It appears the Birds got positive results on Sanders' MRI considering he's now day-to-day with an ankle sprain after missing more than half of the contest against the G-Men. Perhaps they wanted to let him rest as much as possible knowing Boston Scott was capable of handling the load.
While the loss of Brooks is colossal for the Birds, getting assurance that Sanders will be in the backfield is certainly a relief.

He may not be 100% when the time comes, but his presence will force Seattle's defense to adjust without a doubt.
