Eagles RB Miles Sanders Declares He's Good to Go for Playoff Battle With Seahawks
By Michael Luciano
The Philadelphia Eagles have been beat up by injuries over the last few weeks, and star rookie Miles Sanders was also dealing with a nagging ankle issue.
The allure of a playoff game against Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks would be too much for Sanders to miss out on, as he confirmed that he will play against Seattle despite his ailment.
Sanders has become not only Philly's premier running threat, as evidenced by his 818 yards and 4.6 yards-per-carry, but his 509 yards receiving show that he has quickly become an indispensable member of their injury-riddled passing game.
Jordan Howard and Boston Scott will be available to run if Sanders is on a pitch count, but expect the Penn State product to still be in line for a good chunk of touches.
Sanders has instantly emerged as one of Philly's best weapons on the offensive side of the ball after just one season, and thankfully for the Eagles they'll avoid digging themselves the major hole of facing Seattle without their top running back.
