Eagles' Ronald Darby Expects to be Back on Field by Training Camp
By Max Scoli
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Ronald Darby has been out since Week 10 of the 2018 season with a torn ACL, but he is working hard towards getting back on the field and returning to football activities.
He isn't quite there yet, but the former NFL Super Bowl Champ remains optimistic, stating that he will "doing stuff in training camp."
While this process often takes time, Darby continues to progress and is eager to get back on the field. He believes that the way he is feeling right now and where he should be in several weeks, he will be ready to go for Week 1 of the upcoming season.
"I’m right where I need to be. Everything is going good, no setbacks. Putting up good numbers each week in rehab, so going to be ready for training camp," said Darby. "I feel good. I feel real good. Of course, I don’t feel 100 percent, like myself, but I feel good."

Staying on the field has been a struggle for Darby, who has played a combined 17 games in the last two years. To correct this, conditioning is key during his rehab.
Darby said he is running close to the same speed he was before and is starting to feel like himself again. The only question is, will his body be durable enough to remain healthy once he returns?
