Eagles sign Julio Jones out of nowhere and fans are pumped
This is a surprise move, that's for sure. Seemingly out of nowhere, Julio Jones has reminded people that he's not done making plays in the NFL just yet. On Tuesday, the future Hall of Famer agreed to a new deal with the Eagles.
The Philly aerial attack has been far from perfect and we all saw that during the team's stunning Week 6 loss to the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. Now, Howie Roseman is hoping Jones can make a big-time impact for Jalen Hurts and this offense as a whole.
Jones was always going to sign with a contender, as this may be his last chance to win a Super Bowl ring. Going to Philly is quite the move for him. Despite the Eagles losing on Sunday, they're still 5-1 on the year and looking to be in great shape to make noise this winter. Adding Jones sure has people around town excited.
