Eagles Sign Tiny and Speedy Undrafted Running Back With Perfectly Vicious Name
By Adam Weinrib
The Philadelphia Eagles' offensive shortages in 2019 did NOT apply to their backfield. Rather, Philly continued to find gems, uncovering the legendary Boston Scott, and seamlessly moving on from Darren Sproles' change-of-pace with Miles Sanders as their bell cow.
Stylistically, though, Philly's got a solid shot to bring a Sproles-ish element back to The Linc in 2020. The Eagles signed undrafted UCF 'back Adrian Killins late on Saturday, and this little savage could absolutely replicate what the team had for so many years with the reliable 5-6 agitator.
Killins, whose name is simply way too perfect, is all of 5-8, and his blazing speed is the most noticeable thing upon an initial scope of his highlights. While he wasn't invited to the NFL Combine, Killins has registered a 4.39 40-yard dash.
Killins averaged 6.1 yards per carry for the people's national champs in Central Florida, and he's now moving on to the ONE team that knows exactly what to do with him.
It's hard to imagine a more perfect fit for this bite-sized killin(s) machine -- or a more perfect moniker.
