Eagles TE Zach Ertz Reportedly Cleared to Play Sunday Against the Seahawks

Carson Wentz has led the Eagles to the playoffs despite playing most of the year alongside backups on offense due to various injuries plaguing the team. Well, despite still being without the likes of Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson, Wentz will reportedly have one of his favorite targets at his disposal on Sunday.
Zach Ertz, who has been battling both a rib injury and a lacerated kidney, will somehow be healthy enough to play against the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card game, according to NBCSports' Derrick Gunn.
The star tight end had been considered questionable throughout the week, but it looks like he's feeling good enough to suit up. While he certainly won't be at 100% health, his presence on the field is invaluable.
Ertz caught 88 passes for 916 yards in the regular season, appearing in 15 games. While this is a downgrade from his record-setting 2018 campaign in which he managed to reel in a tight end record 116 passes, Ertz is a vital cog in Philly's offense.
Even at home, Philadelphia comes into this game as substantial underdogs given their unimpressive 9-7 season. However, adding Ertz back into the mix could give the Eagles the edge they need as they look to pull off the upset.
