Teams in American sports leagues need to find unique ways to keep their fans engaged, especially in the offseason. Most updates these days come by way of Twitter, Instagram and even TikTok, and sports teams have been using these platforms to keep fans updated at all times.
Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson tweeted out a photo of him during pregame warmups in AT&T Stadium, home of heated rival Dallas, on Tuesday, and Philly’s social team made sure to reply to Johnson in order to double up on the feels.

Whether you are a fan of the Birds or not, every football fan feels the exact same way, stuck in pause and waiting on some sort of announcement for how the season will proceed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Philly’s fans are waiting like the rest of us for the moment that they can watch their team have moments like this again.
Philly’s first game of the season is on Sept. 13 against Washington on the road. With 117 days and counting remaining until kickoff, both Johnson and the Eagles’ twitter have officially started their countdown.
