eBay User Who Sold Kyle Rudolph’s Gloves Has Also Obtained Tons of NFL Memorabilia
The mystery of Kyle Rudolph's gloves has been one of the more entertaining of 2020, as the Minnesota Vikings tight end became the latest victim in what appears to be a long-running scam by a national media member, who has allegedly been selling the game-worn gloves of several other NFL players.
Under the guise of charity, this media member allegedly obtained the gloves worn by Rudolph after he hauled in a game-winning touchdown pass during overtime of Sunday's Wild Card match-up with the Saints. Just a few days later, Rudolph saw these same gloves that he thought had been donated to charity, except this time they were for sale on eBay.
The eBay seller in question has apparently been very busy, as their transaction history revealed that numerous items related to the 2019 Super Bowl, the Pro Bowl gloves of Kareem Hunt and Saquon Barkley, and numerous other miscellaneous memorabilia items have sold through eBay on their account.
Thankfully, the eBay user responsible for purchasing Rudolph's gloves amended for the wrongdoings of the initial seller -- some may say thief -- by donating the gear to charity after all.
With the narrative of this NFL media scam artist unfolding before our very eyes, the layers of intrigue surrounding Rudolph's clutch touchdown grab continue to pile up. Certainly we hope no other players fall victim to the scams of this untrustworthy media member.
