VIDEO: Ed Orgeron Apparently Cut His Head After Punching Himself in LSU Practice to Pump up Players
By Michael Luciano

The exploits of LSU head coach Ed Orgeron have taken on almost a mythical quality, and the latest story surrounding the Tigers' man in charge is just as ridiculous as all the others. Orgeron reportedly suffered a major gash in his head after punching himself in the face while trying to pump his team up.

Considering all the ridiculous Coach O stories out there, this one actually might be pretty tame.
Would you expect anything less from the man who oversees a program that employed a strength coach that liked to headbutt players without a helmet on? Probably not.

LSU has built a program with alpha males at pretty much every level, and there is no better example of that than Orgeron, who is willing to pay any physical price to amp up his team.
