By Parker White

If you're a New York Yankees fan, today's Triple-A game between the Scranton Wilkes-Barre and the Buffalo Bisons is must-see TV, as veteran slugger Edwin Encarnacion will be the designated hitter.
Oh, and he's batting leadoff.
It's #SevySeason in SWB today!

Edwin isn't the only big-leaguer rehabbing at Scranton on Sunday afternoon.
On top of Encarnacion getting plenty of at-bats atop the lineup, Yankees right-hander Luis Severino will toe the mound, as he continues to work his way back to the majors. He's been plagued with a shoulder injury and lat strain that have prevented him from pitching for the Yankees in 2019.
Luis Severino will start today and throw 35 pitches, according to Jay Bell.

Edwin Encarnacion will play a full nine today (DH) and tomorrow (1B).
The expectation is for Severino to throw 35 pitches today, whereas Encarnacion will play a full nine innings in the DH spot and then move over to first base,
Encarnacion was placed on the 10-day injured list with a fractured wrist back in early-August after being hit by a pitch. If the initial timetable holds and there aren't any setbacks, the veteran first baseman should return to the big league team very soon.
