VIDEO: Eli Manning and Daniel Jones Playing Flip Cup After Giants Beat Redskins is Adorable
By Jerry Trotta
Daniel Jones returned at quarterback for the New York Giants on Sunday after an ankle injury shelved him for two weeks, and boy, did the rookie gunslinger have a day. In an overtime dub over the Washington Redskins, the Duke product threw for 352 yards and five touchdowns, including the game-winning heave to tight end Kaden Smith. The G-Men improved to 4-11 on the year and they celebrated accordingly by hitting the town, where DJ and Eli Manning were spotted partaking in a game of flip cup. This clip is guaranteed to hit all Giants fans right in the feels.
If Eli hyping up Jones after their supposed W doesn't reek of nostalgia, we don't know what does.
It would appear that the 38-year-old Manning is showing the 22-year-old Jones the ropes in more ways than one, and Giants fans should be loving every second of it.
OK, Jones may have a bit more to learn in the rowdy department than we originally thought. After all, it takes time to enter Eli's echelon.
Nothing to see here, folks. Just an older Eli celebrating a victory with a young signal caller that just so happens to remarkably resemble his personality as a youngster.
