Eli Ricks has a great chance to put on a show for Alabama vs. LSU

The start to Eli Ricks' career with Alabama hasn't gone according to plan, but it sure looks like things are moving in the right direction. After not seeing a ton of playing time to start the year, Ricks posted his first start vs. Mississippi State and was fantastic.

He was targeted 10 times, only allowing one reception for nine yards. The former LSU standout will be ready to record more of the same this weekend, this time going up against... LSU. Bama vs. the Tigers on Saturday? That's what's coming and Ricks will be ready to stick it to his former team.

Alabama coach Nick Saban praised the progress CB Eli Ricks has made since transferring from LSU this past offseason:

"Eli just had to go through a lot of transitions here in terms of ... trying to learn our system, & getting confident in it."

Rick is a projected first-round pick and he can further improve his stock with a strong finish to the campaign. That will start, hopefully, with a fantastic showing vs. LSU. Let's see that this kid can do.
