Emmanuel Sanders Shares Inspiring Twitter Post Ahead of 1st Preseason Game Since Achilles Injury
By Kevin Aquino

Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders will take the field for the first time in over eight months for a preseason game against the 49ers tonight.
The Broncos' playoff push screeched to a halt on Dec. 5 when Sanders tore his Achilles tendon during practice after the team rattled off three straight wins.
Glory to God.. I made it thru my storm and test now tonight I take the field with my teammates again. I’m back stronger and better. Thank you @uchealth for doing such an amazing job on my surgeries. You guys are the best in the world in my opinion. #Letsgo pic.twitter.com/D7ZDqtGGs8

A torn Achilles is considered one of, if not the most, devastating injuries an NFL player can sustain, and the fact that Sanders believes he's coming back a stronger and better player is a positive sign.
Footage of Sanders' rehab has showcased the 32-year-old receiver's remarkable progress, and he even revealed that the timetable for his return was ahead of schedule back in March.
Sanders will likely be chomping at the bit, despite his return taking place in the preseason, after describing tonight's game against San Francisco as a "championship".
Emmanuel Sanders on how he would assess joint practice vs. SF defense: "They won the first day, we won the second day and we got a game on Monday for the championship.’’ #9sports
