VIDEO: Enes Kanter Lobs Full-Court Shot to End First Half vs Raptors and Misses by a Country Mile
By Mark Powell
Give Enes Kanter credit, he's playing in his first game outside of the United States in years, as he had been living in fear of capture from his native country Turkey due to his views of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. However, perhaps the nerves are getting to him slightly as the Celtics battle the Raptors in Canada. To end the first half, Kanter threw up a prayer from the opposite free throw line. Spoiler alert: it did not go as planned.
That had to have slipped, as Kanter's attempt went far left and into the first row. A full-court lob is tough enough, especially on the road. Yet, given the margin of error, Kanter's shot goes a little beyond typical blooper-real content.
