Enner Valencia was absolutely brilliant for Ecuador vs. Qatar

He's the captain of Ecuador for a reason, folks. In the World Cup opener, Enner Valencia and 'La Tri' took on Qatar in a primetime matchup. Enner Valencia was the man of the day for the ECU, as he scored not one, but two goals for the South American side.

With Valencia's strong showing, Ecuador was able to grab all three points and it feels like they have a great chance to make it out of their group.

If Ecuador does grab either the No. 1 or No. 2 spot, Valencia will be a major reason why. We'll see how things go for them against Netherlands and Senegal.
