Eric Stonestreet From 'Modern Family' Officially Becomes Part Owner of Royals

We guarantee you didn't see this one coming, folks.
The Kansas City Royals will introduce new owner John Sherman during a news conference at Kauffman Stadium on Tuesday, but before that presser, a full list of individuals who are part of the new ownership group has been revealed.
Among that bunch was Eric Stonestreet, renowned actor from ABC hit sitcom "Modern Family" and huge MLB fan.

Stonestreet has an undying love for all things Kansas, as he attended Piper High School and even attended college at Kansas State. He wears his fondness of Kansas City sports teams on his sleeve and he is often seen making cameos as Andy Reid's fictional brother Randy at random Chiefs practices.

Not many individuals can say they grew up to become the part owner of their hometown club.
On Tuesday, Stonestreet became part of that exclusive list and Royals fans should believe that he will take the job about as serious as anyone given his eternal infatuation for the club.
