Even Tom Brady Wants Colin Kaepernick to Get Another Chance in the NFL
By Andy Loughmiller
Free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick completed his much-anticipated workout this past Saturday in an attempt to get back into the league. Representatives from seven teams attended the session, and videos that have surfaced suggested he still has the arm strength to succeed.
Kaepernick has had many supporters throughout his hiatus, and now you can add another noteworthy public figure to that list: Tom Brady.
Yes, Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback of all time, has now said that he hopes Kaepernick gets a chance to play again in the NFL.
This shouldn't come as a total surprise. Brady and Kaepernick may be polar opposites in terms of playing styles, but they do have one thing in common: they share a common enemy in NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
The New England Patriots superstar had a lengthy battle with Goodell and the league during Deflategate, and was ultimately suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season. It's safe to say the GOAT hasn't forgotten about that either.
We're sure that Brady genuinely wants to see Kaepernick get another opportunity in the league, but being able to be on the side opposite of Goodell is just an added bonus.
