Every Single Nationals Starter Scored a Run in Their Shellacking of the Reds

Usually when Trevor Bauer is on the mound, the opposing team does not expect to score too many runs.

But the Washington Nationals certainly changed the narrative on that Wednesday. The Nats put up 17 runs on the Reds, with 16 of them coming in the sixth and seventh innings.

Not only that, but EVERY starter for them scored a run, and everyone except pitcher Stephen Strasburg scored TWICE.

Talk about a team effort.

The Nationals have recovered well since their rough series loss against the New York Mets and look nothing like the team that was blowing leads and failing to come through in the clutch.

As a result of their series sweep against the Reds, the Nats have regained a 1.5-game lead in the National League wild card race, with the Cardinals, Brewers, Mets and Phillies trailing.

Some more offensive outbursts like this will certainly help their cause.
