Ex-Yankees Reliever Jeff Nelson Destroys Astros for Talking Without Accomplishing Anything in 2019
By Adam Weinrib

Flags fly forever, and the lack of a flag after spending all October claiming you were the "Apex Predator" or whatever (gag) is equally permanent.
You don't need any ex-big leaguers to tell you it's embarrassing to chirp, chirp, chirp some more, and then go home empty-handed just like 29 other teams at October's end, but dynasty Yankees reliever and current analyst Jeff Nelson is more than happy to help remind you!
Congratulations to the National’s. The Astros had a very good year but, do your talking in between the lines and easy with the dynasty talk, you have to win a few World Series in a row for that!!!

The Houston Astros are an amazing team...that has won one ring in a three-year window that came with an ample shot at a three-peat. They underachieved, and Nelson is here for it.
Predictably, so are the NYY fans.

Four World Series wins in five years remains an absolutely ridiculous feat, and the 1996-2001 Yankees were just a few bizarre bounces away from making it five titles. Nelson was gone by then, however, so he truly knows...nothing but success.
Jeff Nelson would know about what a dynasty true is. #Yankees #PinstripePride https://t.co/AGBRNamf0q pic.twitter.com/Jzk8UNaNF8

The righty with the frisbee slider has earned the right to talk forever, until someone infringes on his dynastic territory. The Astros certainly went bold. Now, they go home.
Such a shame.
