Ezekiel Elliott's Agent Claims He's Victim of Extortion Attempt From Vegas Security Guard
By Jerry Trotta
In a surprising turn of events, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell opted to not suspend Ezekiel Elliott upon meeting with the All-Pro running back to discuss the Las Vegas incident during which he allegedly shoved a security guard, later identified as Kyle Johnson.
It was determined that Zeke did not violate the league's Personal Conduct Policy. That ruling did not sit well with Johnson, who responded on Friday by pressing charges against the Cowboys superstar.
Well, Elliott's representatives have promptly responded to the charges, claiming that the Ohio State product is the pawn of an extortion attempt.
We presume that the reason Zeke's attorney's are playing the extortion card is because Johnson originally opted to not press charges.
Most would agree that it certainly looks dubious that he is electing to do so after Elliott was not disciplined by the league.
Johnson even stated that he wouldn't pursue Dallas' RB if he came out and delivered a sincere apology.
Just a few days ago it appeared that the final of this prolonged dilemma was finally closed. Now, it's FAR from over.
