The Dallas Cowboys are up against the salary cap as their top three offensive players are all awaiting new deals.

It will take a lot of maneuvering to keep all three, and Ezekiel Elliott's new contract demands are not going to help the Cowboys out at all.

Of course contracts are relative to when they are signed, and Elliott, Dak Prescott, and Amari Cooper are all hitting the market at the height of these new massive contract extensions.

Despite all three looking at signing contracts that will put them all at the top of their position's salary standings, you could make the case that Prescott and Cooper specifically aren't worth that kind of money. Yet, such is life in today's NFL.

Elliott deserves a payday and will most likely get the four-year contract he wants, but keeping him will significantly hinder the Cowboys chances at building a solid foundation around these three centerpieces.
