VIDEO: Ezekiel Elliott Says Josh Allen is a 'Beast'
By Jerry Trotta

It hasn't taken very long for Josh Allen to earn the respect of the NFL's biggest stars. The Buffalo Bills quarterback is fresh off an impressive sophomore season in which he led the team to a 10-6 record and a berth in the playoffs while throwing for over 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns. Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was the latest high-profile player to dish out some praise in Allen's direction. The perennial Pro Bowler did so during a Twitch live stream on Friday.

This is a pretty noteworthy compliment from Elliott. After all, he had a front row seat to the Bills' 26-15 destruction of the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. It was arguably Buffalo's biggest win of the season and Dallas' most deflating defeat.
In that game, the 2018 No. 7 overall pick completed 19 of 24 pass attempts for 231 yards and a touchdown. He added 43 yards and a score with his legs.

Allen certainly has a ways to go in terms of his development as an NFL gunslinger, but nobody can deny his competitive edge. In many ways, "beast" was as good of a word as any from Elliott to describe the budding star.
