This Falcons-Jets Draft Day Trade Could Land Atlanta Javon Kinlaw
By Michael Luciano

The Atlanta Falcons, as evidenced by the Julio Jones trade, have a history of boldly moving up in the first round of the NFL Draft.
General manager Thomas Dimitroff appears to be plotting something big once again, with reports surfacing that the Falcons are considering moving up from No. 16 in order to select South Carolina defensive tackle and Senior Bowl star Javon Kinlaw.
Source i talked to believed they want to move to 11 or 10 for Kinlaw. https://t.co/OCfEnf9U6u

The New York Jets, who have a major hole at wide receiver and a requirement to surround Sam Darnold with quality offensive linemen that they haven't totally filled just yet, hold the No. 11 pick in the draft, and Atlanta should try to trade with them.
The Falcons currently hold a third-round pick in this draft that they would need to part with in addition to the No. 16 overall pick to nab Kinlaw.
In this deal, the Jets would end up with three third-round picks and increase their arsenal of assets, while Atlanta picks up a potential game-changer on the defensive line.
Kinlaw will be a beast in one or two gap schemes, as he has the power to demolish blockers 1v1 while having enough skill as both a run defender and pass rusher to become a Pro Bowl candidate.

Mid 1st
The Jets might be better off trading down given the variety of holes on their roster they need to plug up with draft picks. If they pull off this trade, they'll add another mid-round pick while Atlanta secures one of the best defensive players in the entire draft. Seems like a win-win for both teams.
