Fan Behind Home Plate Trolls Joe Buck During Live Broadcast With Funny T-Shirt During ALCS Game 5
By Mark Powell
Joe Buck is low-key one of the more underrated broadcasters in sports, especially at this time of year. Buck flips back and forth between NFL duty and the MLB postseason for FOX, and he was on the call for ALCS Game 5 in the Bronx between the Yankees and Astros.
One fan, however, clearly, doesn't share this sentiment. While Zach Britton was pitching in a critical situation in the top of the seventh inning, a fan in the front row stood up and revealed a 'Joe Buck Sucks' t-shirt. While not necessarily creative, we have to give him credit for his timing, at the very least.
There are two aspects of this troll to consider. First, how much money did he pay for that seat? Second, was the shirt merely an afterthought, or the primary reason for going to the game in the first place?
Even Buck has to respect how far one baseball fan was willing to go just to get the best of him. At the end of the day, at least Joe gets to go home with his paycheck, while this fan is out several hundred dollars.
