VIDEO: Listen and Watch Fans Freak Out After Hearing the Jazz-Thunder Game Was Postponed
By Jack Murphy

Wednesday's matchup between the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder was postponed due to a player being sick, which we later found out to be Rudy Gobert, who tested positive for Coronavirus. At the time, nobody knew, so fans at Chesapeake Energy Arena weren't happy to hear they would no longer be watching basketball. They flipped after the announcement was made.

The NBA suspended its season just moments later.
Gobert was listed as questionable heading into the contest due to an illness, which began to raise concerns. It looks like his "joke" in touching every microphone and recorder to mock the paranoia surrounding the illness wasn't the right move. He fell ill a couple days later.
As part of the Jazz’s COVID-19 response, shootaround availability was done in the ZBBC media room today rather than on the court. As Rudy Gobert got finished discussing the situation, he stood up, leaned over and made it a point to touch every mic and recorder in front of him. ?

And now, here we are. We went from talking about playing in front of empty arenas, to potentially making that a reality, to skipping that altogether and putting basketball on hold. What a turn of events.
