Feds Investigating Wild White Sox Ticket Scam on StubHub
By Parker White

Whether you're looking to attend a sporting event or some other form of entertainment, StubHub is the leading online ticket exchange market in the world for fans to take advantage of.
However, the sheer number of tickets one Chicago White Sox fan was selling was outrageous. From 2016-2018, Bruce Lee sold more than 35,000 tickets for White Sox home games that generated close to $1 million in revenue.
Bruce Lee of Bensenville sold more than 35,000 Sox tickets in 2016-18. Nearly all of them involved complimentary vouchers.

Another thing that alerted the White Sox front office was the fact that just about all the tickets that were sold included complimentary ticket vouchers that are given by the team to friends and family of the players.
The only way that could happen is if someone in the White Sox organization helped Lee get them, which led to the FBI being notified, and thus, an investigation being launched.

According to a spokesperson for the U.S. attorney's office, no one has been charged in the probe yet. An FBI search warrant affidavit was filed last December and unsealed this week.
The team has yet to comment on the ongoing federal investigation.
