Felipe Vazquez Hit With 21 More Felony Charges in Child Sex Abuse Case
By Parker White

The incredibly disturbing child sex abuse case levied against Pittsburgh Pirates star reliever Felipe Vazquez somehow continues to snowball.
On Tuesday, the 28-year-old showed up to a Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania courtroom in shackles with the expectation that he'd be released on bond.
Turns out, Vazquez isn't going anywhere, as he was hit with 21 more felony counts.

Of the new charges, Vazquez was hit with 10 counts of child pornography, 10 counts of unlawful contact with a minor and one count of corruption of minors.
Vazquez was initially charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, and according to courtroom documents, they have pictures and videos of the minor on his phone.

All 21 charges are listed as third-degree felonies, so if convicted, Vazquez would serve a maximum of seven years in prison. He was initially charged with three felonies in Pennsylvania and two more felony charges in Florida.
The Pirates closer recently signed a four-year, $22.5 million extension with club in 2018. It's hard to imagine him suiting up for the Pirates, or any club, for that matter, as the barrage of horrifying news continues to overwhelm us.
