VIDEO: New Angle of Frank Gore TD Proves He's Still an Absolute Beast
By Karl Rasmussen
Running backs have some of the shortest shelf lives in the NFL, as the average length of a career at the position spans just more than 2.5 years. Well, someone forgot to tell that to Frank Gore, as the Buffalo Bills bruiser is still trudging along in his 15th NFL season. And he's not just going through the motions; Gore is still leveling his way into the end zone at age 36, and he did just that against the Giants in Week 2. This alternative angle of Gore's goal line score shows just how much of a wrecking ball the veteran still is.
Gore splits right up the middle and absolutely flattens Giants' rookie linebacker Ryan Connelly as he forces his way in for six. It looks as if No. 57 was even shaken up by the impact.
The fact that Gore is still able to pound out those goal line touchdowns shows exactly why he's carved out a role in the league for so many seasons. While he's no longer the three-down back he was during his tenure in San Francisco, Gore still has the brawn to get it done on short-yardage situations.
Gore is in a league of his own, effectively acting as the Tom Brady of running backs in terms of mind-boggling durability. He's featured in at least 14 games in each season since 2010, and looks to continue that trend in 2019.
