After weeks of waiting, the IIHF World Championships have finally reached their apex. Finland will take on Canada in a tale of two very different styles and team constructions.
The Canadians are a star-studded crew led by Anthony Mantha and NHL talent throughout the roster, while Finland has little NHL talent. However, prominently featured on the Finland roster is the likely No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, Kaapo Kakko, who is setting this tournament on fire with his excellent play.

The IIH World Championship Final will be broadcast on TSN and NHL Network in Canada and the United States respectively. Should you need a stream, they can be found at the r/hockeystreams subreddit. Puck drop is currently scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET.
For Canada this is a chance at revenge, as the Finns defeated it in their opening game calling on many to question whether all that NHL talent could really mesh in a tournament where team camaraderie is limited due to the number of players on the roster involved in the Stanley Cup playoffs. The chance to form a bond isn't possible, while Finland has been preparing for this moment for months.
Now we'll see if that work pays off.
