First Raiders Sign Posted on Team Headquarters in Vegas
By Michael Luciano
The Oakland Raiders officially packed up and moved to Las Vegas in time for the 2020 season, and both their stadium and team headquarters are nearing completion.
The team's practice facility and headquarters, located just outside of Vegas in neighboring Henderson, put up their first Raider signage.
Yes, people, this is really happening.
Allegiant Stadium, Mark Davis' multi-billion dollar palace in Las Vegas, is the second-most expensive stadium ever constructed at $1.9 billion. However, it has been overshadowed to a degree by the fact that the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers will move into the most expensive stadium ever built, as SoFi Stadium will cost $4.9 billion to build.
Still, that won't change the fact that this new arena is totally state of the art, which is a massive change from the old, decrepit Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
You need to stand out with something flashy when you first make your arrival in Vegas, and the Raiders have done so with what should end up being one of the finest football stadiums ever constructed. That home opener is going to be legendary.
