Fletcher Cox Calls Out the Entire NFL After His Top 100 Ranking Emerges
By Kevin Aquino

After being ranked at No. 69 in the NFL Network Top 100 last year, Eagles DT Fletcher Cox made a massive leap to No. 28 this year.
But understandably, if you know Cox's mindset, that isn't enough for him, and he let the entire league know about it.
#Eagles DT Fletcher Cox on finishing No. 28 in this year’s NFL Network Top 100: “We all know the truth. You’re not going to tell me there’s 27 people in the league better than me. Turn the tape on.”

Even after jumping 41 spots forward in the rankings, the 28-year-old star still feels disrespected.
Cox has been a staple in the Top 100 for the past several years, and bounced back after falling to No. 69 from No. 38 in 2017. But, if you ask Cox about 2017, the conversation will likely turn to his Super Bowl ring.
Cox is also coming off of First Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections. If it makes him feel any better, he's the highest-ranked DT on the list so far, with the top 10 yet to be revealed.
I have a hard time believing there are 27 players better than Fletcher Cox. https://t.co/u4OmczhVEe

The Rams' Aaron Donald and Tampa Bay's Gerald McCoy finished ahead of Cox in the NFL's top 10 DTs of 2018 -- fair enough given that Donald repeated as NFL Defensive Player of the Year and McCoy stood out as the Bucs' best defensive player.
Cox is certain to come out with a huge chip on his shoulder this season and will look to prove that "28th-best" ranking is a slap in the face.
