VIDEO: Florida State Seemingly Gets Screwed With Loss at Clemson Due to Inadvertent Whistle
By Brendan Balsamo

Trent Forrest had a breakaway and slammed it home, which would've given No. 6 Florida State the lead on Saturday against Clemson. However, an inadvertent whistle by a referee negated the dunk entirely, and Clemson came out with another top-10 upset this season. Forrest would have his revenge, hitting a jumper on the very next play to give his Noles the advantage, but taking away what would've been rim-rattling, momentum-changing moment is unforgivable.
Late-game controversy in Clemson.

Florida State appeared to get a possible game-winning dunk off this play, but an inadvertent whistle stopped the play. pic.twitter.com/1wCKTym9pX
A last-second layup let Clemson take the lead and a full court shot that didn't land ended the game with the Tigers' third top-10 upset of the season, all in ACC play.
This is tough for Florida State, as ESPN's latest Bracketology had them as a two seed. Such a loss to an unranked team -- despite it taking place on the road -- could drop FSU down a slot.
Al-Aamir Dawes wins it for @ClemsonMBB with 1 second left to take down #6 Florida State, and they storm the court in Littlejohn for the 3rd time this season after an AP top 6 win. Unbelievable! #ClemsonGRIT pic.twitter.com/KuiVYXSWLu

Saturday's crazy day also saw No. 2 Baylor lose to TCU. The unbelievable 2020 college basketball season continues, and Florida State is just another victim.
