Florida State entered Wednesday ranked No. 7 overall in the nation. A loss at Notre Dame would have hurt the team's chances of earning a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament, so you can imagine Seminoles fans were at the edge of their seat for this one. Disaster was averted late when Trent Forrest got a score with just under four seconds remaining to pull out the important win.

What an effort!

Forrest finished with 15 points in a game that saw Florida State fight back from a 13-point second-half deficit. One could say this is good preparation ahead of a lot of do-or-die basketball.
