Ford Field Mistakenly Cranks up Noise Meter During 'Go Pack Go' Chants During Lions-Packers
By Michael Luciano
The Detroit Lions are currently mired in another horrid season that will earn them another Top 5 pick, while Green Bay Packers fans are relishing the opportunity to stick it to their hated rivals in their Week 17 matchup at Ford Field.
On Sunday, the Lions cranked up their "noise meter" on 2nd-and-10 for the Packers. Only problem is the only thing that could be heard was something Detroit fans probably weren't hoping to hear.
Packers fans travel well, and the Lions haven't been entertaining since Matthew Stafford got hurt. This was to be expected.
Oddly enough, the Lions have actually played pretty well today, as they have a lead on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers thanks to a trick play touchdown pass from wide receiver Danny Amendola to quarterback David Blough.
The Lions will at most have 10 wins to show for the first two years of the Matt Patricia era in Detroit, so you can understand fans not exactly packing the seats at Ford Field to sit through even more unwatchable dreck.
