Shorter always had problems at Penn State including injuries and apparent weight issues. Across two seasons with the Nittany Lions, Shorter featured in 11 games and made 15 total receptions for 157 yards. He did not score a touchdown during his time in the Big Ten.
The Monmouth Junction, NJ native is a huge pickup for the Gators. Shorter should be able to see more time on the field in Dan Mullen's offense than he did under James Franklin.
